The Calgary Ski Club (CSC) was incorporated in 1935 making us the oldest outdoor recreational club in the city.  We provide opportunities for our members to enjoy the outdoors all year round.  That's why we are a club for all seasons and like to say:

“We know snow... and so much more!”

CSC is a group of active people from young to old, singles to families, and everything in between.  We are the only ski club that is solely focused on recreational pursuits – we are not looking to train racers.  CSC members are people who have a common passion for enjoying the outdoors in many ways – Snowshoeing, Cross-Country skiing, Downhill skiing, Snowboarding in the winter and Hiking, Cycling and other activities in the summer.  We also have monthly Socials as well as Dining evenings (using John Gilchrist's Cheap Eats as a guide!) providing opportunities for CSC members to get together and have some fun in the city.

The club is an affordable, non-profit, volunteer organization.  We encourage CSC members to contribute some of their time to the club after they get to know the ropes.  Each of our activities is generally organized by one or two members.  Of course we have a board of directors serving one year terms.
