All Daytrips, including nordic, snowshoeing, hiking and downhill/snowboarding, leave from our carpool location at Edworthy Park unless specified otherwise.

Our departure location is located at the north side of the Bow River at the corner of Shaganappi Trail and Bowness Road/Memorial Driver, just west of the Riverside/Point Mackay towers.

Please park at the east end of the parking lot.

Departure Time

• You must arrive 15 minutes before the stated departure time for registration and to organize carpools.
• We leave on the departure time stated for the activity.
• Departure times vary throughout the year and for different activities.
• Please read the activity information carefully on the Events Calendar page.

Carpools

• CSC is proud to be eco-friendly and organize carpools for the majority of our Daytrips.
• All passengers in a carpool are expected to share in the gas costs. A suggested rate is $0.06/km/passenger to provide reasonable sharing of gas costs with the driver.
• If attending an activity with an apres afterwards, carpooling is arranged according to those who are and are not attending the apres.

Registration

Carpool Daytrips

• For regular carpool Daytrips, members and guests must register online through the Events Calendar 24 hours prior to the activity.
• Latecomers who have not registered online prior must register and/or sign a waiver before being allowed to join the activity.
• Latecomers will be allowed to carpool with registered participants only if there is space available in one or more of the vehicles. Otherwise, latecomers will be responsible for providing their own transportation.

Special Chartered Daytrips

• Members and guests MUST register 5 days prior to the activity and have paid all costs online by the trip cut -off date.
• Subject to any remaining space available, late sign-ups will be accepted up to 24 hours in advance of the trip and will be required to pay an additional $15 late sign-up fee.
• Walk-ups are not permitted to join the Daytrip.

Please note that location of departures of Chartered Daytrips may differ than Edworthy Park depending upon bus company. Please check the Event Calendar activity carefully.
