This page will list any last minute changes for our cross-country lessons.  The coaching staff will aim to have this page updated by 5pm on the day of a weekday lesson, and by 6pm of the previous day for any weekend lessons.  If no update has been provided for a particular date, please assume that your lesson will take place as originally scheduled.  Please find your lesson below.

Learn to Loppet

Announcement: Class is at COP on Tues. Mar. 2 at 7 pm.  Flora and Cindy will lead the class and Dave will be there for some technique review.  Here is the workout:
 
7-7:15 pm Warm Up
7:15-7:30 pm We will video tape those of you who didn't get filmed last week
                    OR Intervals of:
                    5 min. X Intensity 2
                    5 min. X Intensity 3 (sprint)
                    5 min. X Intensity 1 (easy ski) 
7:30-8:30 pm Watch the video & discuss loppet preparations in the 88 Lounge, 2nd floor in the main building at COP where you buy tickets

Wax and forecast: +5 so klister it is.

LEARN TO LOPPET WAX NIGHT - Friday, Mar. 6 from 6 pm to 9 pm, Rosedale Community Centre, 901-11 Ave. NW. 
Come and glide wax the skis you are skiing with in the loppet.  Bring your glide wax and wax kits if you have them and if not, we will have all the supplies and some wax you can use.  Please RSVP to let us know if you are coming. If you miss out, get your skis glide waxed at Lifesport or the Norseman before Sunday according to the forecast for the temperature on Sunday.
