Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding

Whether you are a beginner, just getting back into skiing/riding or experienced, the Calgary Ski Club has something to offer. Carpool day trips to local mountain resorts, chartered bus trips, and weekend getaways, give you with the opportunity to meet other enthusiasts and explore new terrain and resorts.

Frequent Skiers

The club maintains a contact network of enthusiastic skiers, for arranging spontaneous trips through the season.

To add yourself to this list, send an email to the downhill section (see our contacts page) with your name, phone number, skiing ability (see below), and whether you are interested in skiing on weekdays.

Beginner

you ski gentle runs (green and blue)

Intermediate

you ski any groomed runs, and will ski black runs, and moguls (though maybe at a slower pace)

Advanced

you will ski double black diamonds and moguls without hesitation, and enjoy weaving through trees

Wild
