Cycling the Legacy Trail from Canmore to Banff and Return

Six Calgary Ski Club members enjoyed a wonderful day cycling the Legacy Trail from Canmore to Banff and back. We were welcomed with warm temperatures, sunny skies, and a pleasant breeze that made for ideal riding conditions.
The group paused at the two red Adirondack chairs midway along the trail to take in the mountain views before continuing on to Banff. Upon arrival, we made our way to Central Park for lunch and a visit to the busy farmers’ market, where vendors and visitors filled the grounds with energy and color.
The return ride to Canmore, with its gentle decline, made for a quick and enjoyable trip back to the trailhead. By the time we arrived, the trail count had already reached approximately 700 cyclists using the pathway that day.
Thank you to everyone who attended. It was a great day for a bike ride and a wonderful outing shared in excellent company.
