We are trying a new activity this year for Winter End.
Come join us on Saturday, May 11th for 5 Pin Glow Bowling and chat about the past winter season and the upcoming hiking season.
Bowling is a great way to get some exercise. It may not seem like it, but Bowling is actually a very good workout. It requires you to use muscles in your arms, legs and back. It also gets your heart rate up. You can burn an average of 250 calories an hour!
Bowling is a great way to socialize and have fun with our Calgary Ski Club Members. It is one of the few "sport" activities where you can comfortably participate and have a drink with other members at the same time.
Bowling can also be a competitive sport. If you are looking for a competitive activity, this is for you.
You don't need rippling muscles, or to run fast, or to be able to do a handstand to enjoy Bowling. This sport is enjoyed by all types of people, young and old. Bowling is a great way to meet new people and make friends from all walks of life.
So, what are you waiting for? It is a great way to spend some time together and have some fun! You may evenyually find that you enjoy it so much that you may want to make it a regular activity. Bowling is a great pastime for people of all ages, so get out there and give it a try!
